Auburn wins 17-10 over Alabama

Here is the first video I have seen after the win. The video about the state trooper dog biting Auburn's Powers is making the rounds too.

Next Hand

Six in a row for Auburn over Alabama... Way to go Auburn! Fight on you Orange and Blue. What a sloppy game like most rivalry games, but the right team won.
Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

5 hours until game time

I bet that the Auburn campus is energized. 5 hours until kickoff... The trash talk is louder than ever from the Bama side. I think that they may be desperate particularly after the losses to MSU and ULM. If Auburn will just run the ball down the throat of Bama, then I think that they have a good chance to win. If Auburn puts the ball in the hands of Brandon Cox, then I won't be as confident.

But first - we go to a friend's house to root with them for Florida against Florida State. The big games start at 5 PM ET tonight. I would like to watch USC (that is South Carolina here) vs. Clemson but it is at the wrong time - maybe during commercials I will get a peek.

War Eagle! Go Tigers!!!

Football Loss is a Catastrophe

I think that someone or a group of the Bama Nation is taking a loss at a football game a bit too seriously... But, it is being written off as part of the emotion leading up to the Iron Bowl. Along with his "what it is it is" comment re: whether DJ Hall was suspended the whole game or just a half game, he isn't going to get any PR jobs. But, I think that he is trying the Coach Bellichek path of speaking. From Coach Nick Saban of the University of Alabama on the loss to University Louisiana-Monroe:

Changes in history usually occur after some kind of catastrophic event. It may be 9-11, which sort of changed the spirit of America relative to catastrophic events. Pearl Harbor kind of got us ready for World War II, and that was a catastrophic event.

Iron Bowl Song

I have been poking around YouTube this afternoon. I found the 1989 Alabama Auburn game and I almost cried pointing out to my son where I was sitting.

While listening to this song that my wife said was "pretty catchy", my daughter started singing along with "Roll Tide." It hurt me to write that. She is close to being sent to her bed without dinner. That phrase is not allowed in this house until after the game is over in 5 days.

Iron Bowl 2007 is coming

The trash talking is at a fever pitch and made a lot more even since Alabama lost to La. Monroe (I don't even know where that school is). Before, it was all about Saban winning and Tubberville should leave town and go to Texas A&M; now the tone has changed . Comments like: Shula beat ULM 41-7 and Saban couldn't win. Starting to sound a bit nervous...

Looking for things to keep me excited over here away from the talk in SC, I came across this inspirational video on YouTube. Enjoy...

Bama Loses to La. Monroe

True Auburn fans root for Auburn and any team playing Alabama. When Auburn is off the week before the Iron Bowl at Auburn, what better can happen than Alabama to lose with Saban the Savior to UL Monroe? Yeah, Satan might be able to use that game as a rally cry against Auburn, but I think that the home field advantage at Auburn playing at 7 PM CT will make Auburn an almost impossible place for Alabama to win next week.

I am a realist; Auburn could lose. Coach Tubberville and the QB Brandon Cox can still have lack of execution to kill the game for Auburn. But, I think that Auburn's defense will step up and lead the offense in the right direction.

My wife isn't letting me call or text my in-laws about the game. She says that I would be a poor sport, but if you can't trash talk a bit before the Auburn-Alabama game, when can you? Maybe my niece will get a text and be able to pass it on for me ...

UGly game

Maybe Tubberville was right. Maybe the Auburn Tigers were tired from not having a bye week. At least in this game, Tubberville didn't lose the game for the team. The team seemed to not have the energy and emotion that Georgia brought.

I wonder how concerned Richt might be for his job at UGA. He orchestrates the full-team celebration with their first touchdown in Jacksonville at the World's Largest Cocktail Party and then helps the Blackout idea. Richt is doing what he needs to do as a coach to give his players the confidence and best chance to win.

Tubberville continues to keep Brandon Cox the quarterback. Brandon is the quarterback who shows no emotion after throwing some very dumb interceptions and making very slow choices on the field. Maybe Tubberville is thinking about Texas A&M, but it surely isn't going to be because Satan (was that a mispelling?) is across the state at UAT. It might be that he isn't able to get a quarterback to get Auburn to the top and convince the poll voters that he has a consistent team.

Auburn needs another Jason Campbell to go along with the rest of the team which should be very good next year and more senior.

Only the Iron Bowl remains and both AU and UA are out of the polls. Auburn getting to the other hand in wins is a pretty big deal and the game is in Auburn this year. The RVs will start showing up to tailgate by this time next week. Brandon, please show up for one more game. You played a great game at Florida and LSU and you only lost because of coaching mistakes at LSU. Please, let's not feed Satan (my keyboard won't spell that name any other way) and make their egos any bigger.

War Eagle!

Auburn fans loyal even if unhappy

My wife and I are very loyal Auburn fans. Even in the midst of the now-called "rebuilding" with young players, I will still wear my AU cap in public and when I travel. I will be loyal, but that loyalty doesn't mean that I sit by and be happy if things could be better. We were very unhappy with how the team played and how they were coached.

Brandon Cox appears to have not added any capabilities to his game since last season. His play in the Miss State game was not of a six-year senior. Brandon shouldn't have ended the game the way that he did. He shouldn't have thrown the final play to win the game on 4th down by floating a ball across the middle while falling backwards and throwing off of his back foot. Coach Tubberville (CTT) is supposed to use the team to the best of its abilities. After Brandon's poor games with Kansas State and South Florida, Tubberville should have been working hard to get the freshman quarterback ready for the game. Brandon just doesn't seem to recognize the defense and doesn't have the vision and speed to not telegraph his passes.

Either Burns wasn't ready or the coaches didn't get him prepared except for the "change up" option plays for Cox. That mistake is on CTT. Calling what is going on bad or being unhappy doesn't mean that I am disloyal to Auburn. The national media didn't expect this year to be a rebuilding year based on the pre-season ranking. CTT is now talking rebuilding, but he didn't start that way.

We live in a democratic society with mostly-free speech. We are expected to make some noise if we are unhappy. Brandon shouldn't be happy with his play at the end of the game and he shouldn't be surprised by the crowd's response. The booing was a result of fans caring about the game. If they were unconcerned, then they wouldn't cheer or boo. Just like being unhappy with Bush about the direction of the war in Iraq doesn't mean that I am any less patriotic, wanting change and being vocal is not any less loyal to Auburn. When something isn't working, please change course (Bush and Tubberville).

In Seattle both weeks the last 2 weeks, I saw other Auburn fans still wearing their colors like me. All the way across the coast, I can still say "War Eagle!" proudly and we can still talk about mistakes. And, we are still loyal Auburn. Go Tigers! (Florida fans are now popping up everywhere, too.)

Email posting worked

My post from ATL airport worked, but it stayed in draft. One adjustment to the settings and I can fix that. We departed another hour later than adjusted at that point; so 3 hours late overall. It is always very nice to be home and sleep in your own bed and see your family again. Then, we get ready to do it all over again. But, not this week. This week, I will work from home.

Humberto at ATL

Here is my try at blogging away from a BlackBerry. I am sitting in ATL airport for a couple of extra hours like a lot of people tonight.

Humberto didn't stay here long, but it was evidently turbulent enough to stop everything for a while. But, the airport is much more crowded than last week at the same time. Somehow, the people could get here, but the planes to take them somewhere else aren't ready. The logistical challenges of keeping up with the planes, crews, and passengers when this "irregular operations" take place is pretty extraordinary. The system automatically rebooks you according to some magic formula.

If software wasn't there, then the system couldn't work. When software works, then you can scale better to plan these scenarios.

What a difference a week makes. And if I had happened to book the earlier flight home, then I probably wouldn't make it home tonight because that flight was canceled.

Oh, 2 hours late and they have just pushed the flight departure out another half hour. I love flying...

College Football Kickoff tomorrow

We have waited the whole summer. We have been teased with some silly pre-season NFL games and we were thrown a few games last night. But LSU @ MSU doesn't compare with the real kickoff when the Auburn Tigers take the field again. ESPN HD at 7:45 ET. So, we have to wait all day, but other games can help fill the day. Can you feel it? Football time is back again... Let's go Auburn. Let's feel the energy again. We are unfortunately beginning to root for Florida because we have some fanatic Florida friends who will go to a bar to watch Florida play a junior high scrimmage.

You can guess what I will be doing tomorrow ... after I mow the grass. Maybe it will rain and then I can't mow the grass.

America's Privileged

America doesn't have defined royalty with kings, queens, princes, etc. But, we have celebrity royalty and the people who believe that they are privilege. No caste system exists in the U.S. but with some money and attitude some people think that they are above rules. Let's not even discuss Paris, Lindsey, and Nichole Richie. I don't have to mention their last names and you know the royalty that I am talking.

But, other Americans watch so much TV and believe that they just need to be the style to be G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S (Did you sing the song while reading the word? If not, then you missed out - it has a good beat.). Some Americans believe that they just need the neck roll, facial expressions, and the silly bumblebee-cover-up-my-face sunglasses even while inside to get whatever they want. Here are two examples from my trip this week, both within a couple of hours.

Story 1: Manchester, NH and the Northeast in general are not going to be fashion setting. They don't set the trends up there and they generally don't follow the trends. They do not care as long as the Patriots and the Red Sox do well. When teenagers try to fit with the hip Paris look they stand out. This girl was with her family in the airport eating McD's (that's trendy) looking bored and unentertained as she can be. But, she had the glasses and the look, so she was cool. The dad ignored her, but I figured out where she got it from when her mom returned. Her mom tried for the look but there are some times when skin should not be on display. Good, soft skin is good, but wrinkly, folded old-tattoo skin, I don't need to see.

Story 2: When you get on an airplane, you are bombarded with several announcements. 1 - when the boarding door is closed, you must turn the cell phone off. 2 - bags must fit in the overhead or underneath the seat in front of you. 3 - if you sit with no seat in front of you (bulkhead seat - usually first row) then all items must go in overhead. I have set up the story - can you guess the next parts? A woman with her trendy look sits down in Row 1. She puts her big bag at her seat. The flight attendant tells her that the bag has to go in the overhead. She sits there (I won't say ignoring her yet). The captain comes by a few minutes later and notices that she still has the bag there. Instead of asking, he tells he that he will put the bag up for her. The woman rolls her eyes as he puts the bag up. Privileged try didn't work. But, the story wouldn't be worth mentioning if that was it - that story is true even for us commoners. After the boarding door is closed, during the other talk where we learn how to use the overly-complicated seat belts on an airplane, her cell phone rings. At first, she doesn't react, until the flight attendants stops the broadcast to remind her that her phone must be off. Privilege attempt number 2 didn't work. Her weak response was that she thought it was off. She didn't try for a third which would have been to answer the phone (I have seen that try before but not the other day).

If I tell my wife these stories, then she tells me that I am judgmental. If she reads it here instead, maybe she will think it's funny (or true). I can hope, right? I am not judgmental. I enjoy being a sociologist while traveling. I wish I was as good with the one-liners as Dennis Miller or Bill Maher.

Watching people while traveling is fun. The having to sit and be squished into a seat and wait like herded cattle gets very old though, along with waiting for 30 minutes to pick up your bag.

Dean NWC Picture is old

I just noticed the picture of my post about Dean a few days ago. Usually, after I make a post and I am happy that it reads OK, I do not check back. Firefox is nice enough to highlight spelling mistakes so I do not worry too much.

I thought I was doing the right thing to link to the NWC site image rather than copy the picture. But, I didn't realize that the link to the picture remains the same for each advisory. I guess that approach helps their server by not maintaining all of the pictures for each advisory. I figured that the cryptic path and name of the image was computer generated for each advisory, but I guess that the link is created once per storm and makes the site easy to maintain; just pull the latest advisory from a database.

Some late night wonderment - maybe now I do a bad thing and copy the picture from NWC in the future...

Croc Crazy and Slippers

Bill Maher created a new term tonight on his show on HBO with his new rule to not wear plastic shoes. He recounts how a year ago only young children and mental patients wore shoes that you could hose down to clean.

I agree with him that people are getting too casual. In the Atlanta airport on Thursday, I saw a man getting on my flight wearing a polo shirt, shorts, ankle-length black socks, and Crocs. Which fashion faux paus was he committing? The black socks were probably worse. Please help. Sandals are not a fashion accessory and do not necessarily work with every outfit - particularly long pants. Maybe I have just turned too old-school.

I like my own Crocs. They are comfortable and easy to wear around the house. But, I am not firmly convinced about wearing them outside of our house. I have issues about thinking how old I am I guess. I do not wear slippers around the house no matter how cold it is because it reminds me of old people shuffling around.

Watching Dean

Pray for the people of Jamaica. I think that the Cayman Islands has a bit more money to weather the storm, but I think that Jamaica will be walloped if this forecast path from the NHC stays correct. This path hasn't changed much for Jamaica and Yucatan in the past 24 hours.

When you watch Dean, you know that the energy of the storm will have to go somewhere. Dean keeps pulling up the warmth of the water and with no shear to slow it down, it has to grow. You don't want it to hit your house, but you worry for the places and people where it may be going. For instance, I would like a catastrophic storm like Dean has become to hit an error with the ability to prepare and opportunity to recover. Bermuda is a good place. They have money, the building codes, and the government structure to handle a hurricane with minimal loss of life.

That thought leads me to a larger question. We Americans love Haiti, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic for vacation when we go to the areas with money. Should we take more responsibility to share our wealth (not just our tourism dollars) to improve the lives of people in the islands around us? We supposedly went into Iraq to remove a dictator that was not good to his people. What about these island countries with a barely functioning government? Our church and others in the Presbytery support a Haiti mission with St. Joseph's home for boys. Rather than grass roots, should our government which has spent $450 billion and counting, help out with a few billion?

Our Auburn Room

We painted most of the downstairs rooms last summer. This summer we didn't do quite as much after getting the carpet replaced with pecan hickory hardwood. Our son came up with the idea of painting the loft. What colors would be better than Auburn Orange and Blue? I saw the Home Depot commercials about team colors and it is as easy as advertised to get the Glidden paint in your team's approved colors. And, it looks great! Check out our slide show uploaded to Picasa. My wife did most of the work. J did a lot of the painting from 4 feet and below. J kept everyone on schedule.

My toof is gone

J's 2nd front tooth came out yesterday. Hopefully, he can stop gnawing on food from the side. He almost seems to be teething; chewing on his shirt all of the time. The new big teeth are starting to appear. He never learned to whistle very well. He will now have a shot with some adult front teeth. And, school starts in less than 2 weeks. J goes to 2nd grade and C starts preschool 4-K. How fast they grow up...

Cost of War banner

I was checking out Old Blue Bus blog from Blogs of Note and I noticed this on the side of the blog. I think that this number is important for us to remember. Besides the lives, this war is costing us (and Iraqis and others) a lot of money that could be spent on schools, roads, or housing. Instead, we pay for security over there.

Found Thriller on YouTube

I do not normally look around YouTube, but I came across this link reading Reuters Technology channel on my BlackBerry. Pretty good stuff. It is amazing how much stuff people store and post now, and what information we can find in a few clicks on the Web. Enjoy!

Church Billboard

I saw a billboard in front of a small church the other day. The sign read:

Aim for Heaven. Enjoy Earth Enroute.

I think that is a good quote to live by. As we decide how much we should enjoy earth, we need to think about things to enjoy. For instance, getting on a plane to Hawaii has a large carbon footprint, but shouldn't everyone get a chance to see the wonders of the islands if they can. I think that things are created for us to enjoy in all parts of the world. Otherwise, why do they exist?

Simpsons Movie this month

The Simpson's Movie comes out 7/27/07. As quoted by Lisa,

If cartoons were meant for adults, they'd put them on in prime time.

The movie is rated PG-13. For all of us with younger kids but raised on the Simpsons through high school and college and now, we will find a way to have a date night to go watch a cartoon.

Jumping In

J is jumping into the pool from the deep end. C is jumping into the pool from the shallow end. J wanted to go to the pool today with Grandma and Grandpa so he could show them how he can jump in and swim around in the deep end. Without Ms Ann, we didn't get lessons for him or C this summer, but he is swimming better and better. If we can teach him to use his arms and breathe from the side, then I think he will be swimming better than me. Probably by the end of the summer... That may be wishful thinking on his part, but you never know. We need to find some way to keep C going on with the lessons. At age 4, J had Ms. Ann teaching him. Right now, C won't go in the water without the life vest. We need to think of something to keep her progressing...

Live Earth 7-7-07

Hopefully, you are enjoying some of the music provided by the concerts. The messages presented around the music are pretty important for us on the Earth as well. If you have the opportunity, then viewing the concert on Universal HD is the way to go. Click here to go to the official Live Earth blog. You can use the Carbon Footprint calculator to learn how much CO2 your lifestyle generates.

Because I am fairly lazy and I use IM, I downloaded the latest Windows Live Messenger. Just by changing my display name, Microsoft is making donations to different causes. If you already IM and use Windows Messenger, then how easy is that to do?

Touring Washington

See, here is a picture of us with my mom and brother, Greg, but where is my wife? She is back behind the camera taking the picture. That picture in the other post is probably worth a lot of money for an elusive picture that includes my wife...

In front of the White House

My brother and sister both live around DC. This summer's big vacation was to visit family in DC and in NJ. While were visiting my sister and brother and their families for a few days, we spent a Sunday seeing the sites around the National Mall. The crowds weren't too bad, and the weather worked out for us. I was surprised to see just a couple of protesters in front of the White House. One man was holding a sign about the illegal war in Iraq for oil and another man approached him to discuss the situation with him. They were talking pretty loud, but it was civil.

While we were walking around taking pictures, limos were dropping off couples in tuxedos and gowns for a gala that night. We couldn't tell what the event was about. Maybe Cheney was hosting a pre-commutation party for Libby.

Here is a picture of our whole family (probably one out of 200). In most of the other pictures, my wife took the picture. I took a couple with her in the picture, but very few pictures exist with her in them.

Visiting the Statue of Liberty

An appropriate picture of our trip last week on America's Independence Day... Everyone still wants to come to America. The Statue of Liberty symbolizes the America that everyone wants her to be.

On our family trip adventure last week to visit my brother and sister and grandmothers, uncles, and aunts in New Jersey, we took a day to go tour the Statue of Liberty. Here is a good picture that would go well in the marketing materials. At the time that we went through security to go into the pedestal, the line stretched past where we were standing for this picture. At this particular time, they must have had a break for the security staff before the next wave. When you get a ticket, you have a three-hour window of time to make it through security. After almost 2 hours waiting in line and going through security much more extensive than going through airport screening, we walked around for about 1/2 hour. The kids liked the pictures, and I was able to read some of the history of the statue.

We need to remember back to that time in the 1880's when we built up partnerships with countries and worked together to do grand things. Not really we, because I think that the American people get it. However, our executive branch and probably our legislative branch don't seem to get it. They seem to care only about power and elitism for their select interests. Can change happen? It can and it must, but it may take a while. I think that the American people will wake up as they always do to make things right, but sometimes it is easier to react rather than be proactive. America waited too long to enter WWII. Will we wait too long to correct what we are currently doing in the world?

Hitch Carrier on Vacation

Here is my free advertising for etrailer.com and the Rola hitch carrier and bag that we used on our trip from SC to DC to NJ.

Some people thought that we were carrying a corpse in the back. To unhook it and move it around, two people carry it around like a stretcher. To keep the stuff from easy taking because it is within reach we unhooked the carrier at night, unbolted the hitch receiver (just 4 bolts) and put the 2-piece stretcher into the back of the Expedition.

Preparing for Vacation

Tomorrow morning, we leave on our family vacation. We will visit my brother and sister in Washington, DC and both of my grandmothers and uncles and aunt in New Jersey (they live at different exits - if you are from Jersey you know what I mean).

In Washington, we will meet our first nephew E. J and C are very excited to see a baby that is family (C was the youngest before E). J expects to have a great time making E laugh. He will be surprised when E doesn't talk to him with "goo goo gah gah."

My mom is along for the ride with us. Even though we have a large SUV, we decided that carrying 5 people and stuff for 3 locations in a week, particularly 2 young kids, was going to be a space problem. The aero drag is bad enough already in an Expedition, so I decided against a cargo carrier on top. I did my usual analysis and settled on a hitch carrier. It looks good, but now that we are packing up the car tonight, we may have thought bigger than what we need. We won't know until tomorrow whether we need the extra stuff. According to my parents, my grandma near ACY has a lot of freebies from the casinos to give us. We probably won't have a lot of room for that stuff.

Stay tuned. I will try to post about our fun each day and maybe some pictures.

Away at Office this week

I had a rare opportunity to be a real office worker this week. I was in town but working at an office. I had to find my way around commute traffic and try to get home before dinner.

The important thing that I missed this week is watching J get better and better at riding his bike. Now, he is ranging farther and farther away and able to stop, turn, and everything else needed to be a safe rider. Rather than a bike helmet, he is wearing a football helmet. Therefore, I don't have any trouble spotting him when I drive up. J is growing up fast; in just 1 week he has moved quite far.

Riding his bike

J is very proud tonight. I missed it while I was at a church meeting, but he was riding his bike all by himself down the street. With his big front tooth missing, he was very excited and had a huge smile when I got home to hear the news. Way to go J!!!

The Summerville Y Athletics are ...

Runners-up. The A's played a hard game and carried a lead to the bottom of the third inning. They were up 7-4 against the RiverDogs. By the way that the parents and coaches of the RiverDogs were yelling, they weren't used to being behind at least not after their first at-bat. But, we will say that the heat took its toll along with some questionable calls by the ump to sap the energy of the A's. Then the RiverDogs steamrolled for the next couple of innings. The final score wasn't close.

The RiverDogs are coached well and the coaches are good sports and teach sportsmanship very well to their team. They played a great game and deserved the championship.

The U8 Coach Pitch season seemed short, but everyone on the team improved each week and you can't have higher expectations than that. Maybe a couple of kids will go to a different league and a couple will go to a different team, but next year this group will be the "RiverDogs" and the team to beat. Unlike the RiverDogs where the kids have played 4 seasons together with the same coach, the A's were a first year team.

Each player contributed and seemed to have a good time. Looking forward to next season. But first, the parents are going to beat the kids on Thu night in a parent / child finale game.

With proper note to show how proud we are of J, he was selected as Most Improved player. He was surprised and thrilled to be selected by the coach. Along with us, the coach has noticed how much better J is fielding and throwing. We will keep working on it and next year will be even better.

Championship Game on Saturday

J's team has made it to the Championship game in U8 Coach Pitch for the Y. The A's play the vaunted RiverDogs. #1 vs #2. The RiverDogs have blown everyone out because they have returning players since age 4. It is amazing to watch the light bulb click on for 6 and 7 year olds on how to do something and to get better at something. Sometimes the bulb flickers on only for a second, but you take what little steps you can get. What a difference a couple of months and practice makes.

Each team that the A's played in the playoffs the last few days have improved tremendously since they played earlier. Early in the season, J and his teammates just needed to hit the ball and they could score because there wasn't much fielding. Each team except the RiverDogs. To get back to batting you could survive waiting on the other team to strike themselves out. Not in the playoffs. Just about everyone now makes good contact and if you don't run fast you can get thrown out. The A's picked up their game to beat the Rangers on Thu night and now are big underdogs on Saturday. The Rangers played a good game. The A's used what they remembered from practice to get a triple play in one inning and a double play the next to win the game. Their coach was a very good sport and came over to congratulate the A's after the game and wished them good luck against the RiverDogs.

Fizzled Out

The idea of the lemonade stand and the idea of writing a blog has passed for J at the moment. So, I will use this blog for myself. If any of the contributors feel like hopping in, they can.

I usually don't like to enjoy or comment on anyone else's pain and suffering, but I have to help pile on the loads of sympathy for Paris Hilton. Can you see the violin that I am playing for her? You can't? I can't either because I am not playing one. The judge and prosecutor did the right thing. Unfortunately, Paris is the product of our society. Maybe her time in the spotlight is now over. She certainly has a good publicist that knows how to say the right things, but she herself lacks a lot of sincerity. When the spoilutante is faced with reality she cries like a baby for her mother. The spin people are around for the rich-and-famous just like politicians. You can tell the slant of reporting by whether she had five days in jail (as she was credited by the Sheriff) or 3 days in jail which is the rounded time of her protected incarceration.

I agree that LA has an overcrowding problem, but Paris is dangerous. What if she had hit someone while driving intoxicated with a suspended license? Who really believes that she was heading out to a burger joint? She has no credibility.

Wow, quick post became wordy. I feel better to say it. S doesn't want to hear me say anything about it. We basically boycott the Paris Hilton stuff, but we cannot avoid it. I agree with the people that are requesting a boycott of Hilton hotels whether it really impacts her or not. She has benefited from it before if not now. I am not staying at any more Hilton hotels.

Blogging

Our son has become very interested in computers. He loves to read and bookmark Web sites, and every site that he learns or uses at school, he tries at home. To allow him to chronicles his thoughts and use the computer for something halfway useful besides just playing Ben10 from The Cartoon Network, we started this blog. He is spending quite a bit of time typing his thoughts rather than thinking right now, but I think soon, he will figure things out. Watch out! I bet that he has a lot to say. Let's see how this blog works out over the summer.

Free Water

One afternoon, I decided to give away free water because it was hot outside. I made $4. I was just looking for something nice to do. Then, I made a lemonade stand in our front yard. I sell lemonade for 10 cents. I made $10 the first afternoon. Now, I have something to do this summer to keep busy and I am meeting all of my neighbors. I like baseball a lot.
